We are open daily 7am - 6pm
Fees are $14.00 per day
Daily field trips, computer lab & technology center, basketball, movies & popcorn, hockey, cooking, teen trips, Magic Mountain, fine arts, flag football and more!


After School Programs 2008-2009

Homework Center - after school homework help, resource materials and computer research lab for all ages!
Tutoring  - after school tutoring! Indvidual and Group Sessions. Membership & Fee required. See Front Desk for more information. 

Intramurals - seasonal sports intramurals for ages 10 - 12.
Sign-ups required.
Self-defense Classes - for ages 6 to 9 years. Registration & Fee required.
Guitar Classes - for ages 6 to 9 years. Registration & Fee required.
Creative Writing Classes.

Berylwood Students

Berylwood Elementary School is a Title I Program Improvement School.  Eligible students at
Berylwood Elementary school may avail themselves of Supplemental Education Services (SES).
Eligibility is determined by a combination of factors.  Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are
academic tutoring services focused on English-language arts, mathematics and/or science and provided
by entities approved by the State Board of Education (SBE) to tutor students beyond the regular school
day.  Parents select SES provider.  SES shall be research-based, consistent with the state content
standards and state-approved instructional materials adopted by the LEA, and assessed with valid and
reliable assessments.  If your student is enrolled at Berylwood Elementary School and you are interested
in learning more about SES, please contact the school at 805-520-6705.

Parent/Child Tournaments

Here at the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley we put great stock in parent-child interaction, which we believe helps to increase communication and openness between family members.

To help with this family togetherness we regularly hold what we like to call Parent/Child Tournaments. From anything like 9 Ball, all the way to Foosball, we have parents team up with their children to compete against the other family teams. We serve food as well as give every participant a prize. And for the winners an extra special gift!

So come and bring your best to the "table" and sign up for our next Parent/Child Tournament. These evenings are always filled with laughter and many memorable moments for the family to take home. Please check back for dates and times for our next tournament.
